Experienced and accredited board member, Chief Executive Officer and Chartered Accountant with special expertise in property and casualty insurance and real estate.  Expertise includes strategy formulation, design and implementation, risk management, and  regulatory compliance.

Michelle holds a degree in Business Administration from York University, and received
her Chartered Accountant designation in 1983. Before joining LAWPRO in 1995 as its
Chief Financial Officer, she held senior administrative and financial positions with a
number of organizations, both public and private in the insurance and real estate
industries.

An accredited director, she has served as Chairman of the Ontario Bar
Assistance Program, President of the National Association of Bar Related Insurance
Companies and a director of various insurance and legal software companies.

Michelle was with LAWPRO since January 1995, and its President
and Chief Executive Officer from 2001 to 2008.
